Dinosaur Jr - Over It

Artist: Dinosaur Jr

Song: Over It

Album: Farm (2009)

Here’s a music video that definitely get’s it right on all angles! This is the newest music video of the band Dinosaur Jr. called “Over it,” and as you watch through this epic MV you’ll notice that it’s basically a collection of Gear Heads (which just happens to be the band members of Dinosaur Jr.) doing their nasty bicycle tricks all over the place! I can totally dig that!

The official video for Over It, from the album Farm, out on Jagjaguwar in the US on June 23 and PIAS in the UK & Europe June 22!

Dinosaur Jr. were largely responsible for returning lead guitar to indie rock and, along with their peers the Pixies, they injected late-'80s alternative rock with monumental levels of pure guitar noise. As the group's career progressed, it turned into a vehicle for J Mascis' songwriting and playing, which had the ultimate result of turning Dinosaur's albums into largely similar affairs. About Farm”: Some twenty years after their formation and legendary dissolution, Dinosaur Jr. returned to form with 2007's "Beyond", continuing their march into rock greatness. "Farm" is proof that this band continues to deliver. At times wholly 70s guitar-epic, at times perfect for sitting by a babbling brook with Joni and Neil, "Farm" encompasses Dinosaur Jr.'s signature palette - soaring and distorted guitar, unshakable hooks, honey-rich melodies - songs that get into your head and, bouncing around happily, stay there.
