Artist: Creedence Clearwater Revival
Album: Cosmo’s Factory, 1970
The cover of Cosmo’s Factory put Doug Clifford front and center, on his 10-speed bicycle, while John hung in the background of a motorcycle behind the drums “John Fogerty was the lead singer, the writer, the musical leader, for the most part” Doug said, I was the frontman, John was uncomfortable in that role. There wasa lot of pression on him at the time, and he wanted some relief, so he said “We’re going to do the cover of Cosmo’s Factory to put the focus on you and take the pressure off to me”. I love it. It’s our biggest selling album ever.”
